One Year. Countless films. A drive-by review for each and every one. And when I say "drive-by," I mean a paragraph--at best. Maybe a little humor, maybe not. The reviews will come in the order I see the films, and will be posted immediately after viewing (or as soon after as possible).
This is an exercise in discipline for me: I love movies and I love to write, but I often do very little of the latter (and not very well) because I'm a busy man. Ok, that last part is a lie: I'm just lazy. But no matter! I've set upon myself a crazy mission, and I'm going to do my best to see it through for the next 365 days.
Beware: Since I'm the guy that can go from classic American exploitation to cerebral foreign art-house in five seconds flat, you're apt to find a wide--some might say psychotic--variety of films on this site; I've been known to watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Seventh Seal in the same night. If I've watched a movie for the third, fourth, or twentieth time, I'll include it here, because the goal is to write about everything I see, no matter what.
A final note: No, I wasn't inspired by Julie & Julia to do this. I've been thinking about it for months on end now, but like I said, I'm lazy. But no more.
